Welcome to Riai Aikido Dojo's English pages. Most of our Swedish pages have been translated into English. However, there are some pages not included such as information on local seminars.
Pia and Jan have been to Iwama, Japan many times over the years to train under the late Morihiro Saito Sensei. Pia went to Iwama for the first time in 1988 and Jan in 1990. Saito Sensei represented what is usually called the “Iwama-school” of aikido, where taijutsu (body techinques), bokken (wooden sword) and jo (wooden staff) constite an integrated system.
Aikido is fun to train, come and join us!
If you are a permanent resident in the Gothenburg area you are welcome to sign up as a regular member. If you are a visitor you are welcome to join our classes and just pay a small fee for each class.
